Man Utd Premier League Fixture List 2015/16

Manchester United will begin their Barclay’s Premier League campaign on 8th August at Old Trafford in the hopes of becoming title challengers.

The first hurdle will be against Tottenham and by then, Louis Van Gaal’s man would have finished their pre-season tour and play the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. So the squad should be ready and prepared to start the league season with a bang. Compared to last season’s nervous and unpredictable start, this time, the manager will have his players in the right mind frame to challenge champions Chelsea as well as competing with Arsenal and Man City.

Obviously, the key dates in the campaign will be the derbies and the clashes against the top six of last season to get that extra edge over them. The first tough test will be Liverpool at home on 12th Sept. October could be a tough month with Arsenal, Everton and Man City to play. United do not face Chelsea until the end of the year and by then both teams will be in the race for the title so this clash will be one to look out for.

The last five fixtures of the season looks comfortable on paper but it may not be the case. There are two promoted teams Norwich and Bournemouth plus Leicester and Aston Villa who could potentially be involved in the relegation fight. West Ham will want will to finish the season on a high at Upton Park as they say farewell to the stadium and move to the Olympic Park from next season.
